It was there... and then it wasn't. World's Ugliest Bathroom disappears!

So, GeoDwell knows, and so do a lot of our homeowner clients, that it often "gets worse, before it gets better"!  But home renovations can certainly be worth the effort, and done well, can increase your home's value beyond the cost of your investment.

That said, this "little project", the reinvention of our beloved "Carnival" master bath, is underway.  As Chip would say, it was DEMO DAY at the Rawls house, recently.  I have to admit, it looks more than a little scary right now.  We will be using our existing vanity cabinets, and adding on.  We found out they were made of mahogany, and so, we've hired a custom cabinet maker to build a larger, vertical center storage unit that will be stained to match by our awesome painter guy, extending all the way to the top of our 11' foot ceilings.  Right now, we have a big "blank slate".   Whoopee!

The tub is prepping to get a new marble surround...  and

AND the pièce de résistance, our beloved Carnival shower, with it's beyond colorful tile, that was both mesmerizing and dizzying, is now a thing of the past.  Boo hoo! NOT.  It was here; then it wasn't,

EEEeeeee GADS!  Now we hope, cross our fingers and toes, and just downright trust our instincts that the design that seemed so right when I drew it (yeah, that in and of itself is questionable), will emerge from the rubble as a beautiful new masterpiece!
